Leaves fall quickly after a series of frosts or heavy rains. Getaway when the colors are the most beautiful and the weather is the most tolerable.

Avast, me hearties!  Talk like a Pirate when ye claim a room and drop anchor with us fer the days of September 17-18 and we'll send ye a car-r-r-rd to get yer dinner for 2 at ye Saucy Dog's Bar-r-r-rbeque on Friday night and dinner for 2 at Johnny T's Bistro on Saturday at no extra char-r-r-r-r-rge. Wear yer eye patches, dew rags, and hooped earrings to look the part, as I'll be havin' a rip roarin' good time with me buxom beauty on the morn o' check-out for 'tis that day that be International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Limit 2 land lubbers per room.

Hillsdale County Fair Week

"The Most Popular Fair on Earth" 2010 TBA

Experience "The Most Popular Fair on Erth", the Hillsdale County Fair, a Southern Michigan tradition since 1851. It is the longest continuously running fair in the state of Michigan. George Munro, original owner of our home, was on the Fair Board at its inception. Enjoy the horse pulling competition, horse racing, exhibits, and animals, plus good food and rides on the Midway. Live entertainment in the is scheduled to include Talent Show, Demolition Derby, Tractor Pull, plus Saturday night headliner. Daily Fair Tickets are just $4.00 each and are available at the Fairgrounds in Hillsdale. Munro House Bed & Breakfast is "the most comfortable lodging in Hillsdale County" and is located just 10 minutes from the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds.
