Chef Night Private Party

Everyone Becomes a Chef for the Night for a Multi Course Dinner Party Available on Most Nights*

Up to 7 couples arrive with one of them assigned as group leader for 2 nights of fun. Leader has worked with us in developing a theme and menu for the evening.

Arrive to your comfortable room and walk 2 blocks to a casual dinner at Saucy Dog's Barbeque. Your gift certificate will get you a great selection of barbequed food. Spend the evening with your friends before retiring to your comfortable room. Awaken to a big breakfast and spend a leisure morning and early afternoon enjoying a massage or other spa service, antique shopping, go-carting, miniature golf, standard golf, or just hanging out. At 3:00 P.M. your host assigns recipes and team mates. These teams must then work together to prepare their assigned dishes.

Everyone is seated while individual chefs serve up their dishes for a great dinner until all courses have been served.

Single Business Travelers visiting Hillsdale County

If you have to spend time away from home, you might as well feel good about it. Just mention the local company you are visiting to get the special price. We will try our best to make you feel like you're visiting family. Our business guests love the fact that our home is fully air conditioned and 100% smoke-free, each room has a queen size bed, its own private bathroom with a shower, and a work station. A hot breakfast is offered every day as early as 7:00 a.m., our high speed wireless internet is free, our cable TV has over 60 channels of news, sports, special interest, and local stations. Munro House is within 10 minutes of most of the businesses in Jonesville, Hillsdale, Litchfield, Allen, Moscow, and North Adams, Michigan. Two of the best restaurants in the county are just 2 blocks away--Saucy Dog's Barbeque and Olivia's Chop House.

Cowboy for a Day Horseback Riding Package

Come by yourself, bring a friend, or your child for a horseback riding getaway. Arrive in time for a casual dinner for 2 at Saucy Dog's Barbeque. Get a good night sleep, get up early for a big breakfast before heading out to the Buffalo Ranch to become a cowboy for a day by spending the whole day horseback riding in Michigan. Your cowboy for a day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will include instruction for safety, care, saddling, jumping, riding, and horsemanship along with a hearty lunch that includes buffalo burgers and beans plus a lot of fun. You will also be able to go for a wagon ride to hand feed the buffalo, plus unlimited use of the mechanical bull ride and the zip line.  Return for another great meal at Olivia's Chop House then retire to your comfortable room. Wake up to another big breakfast before heading home.

Becoming a cowboy for a day is meant for any level rider age 8 and older and is ideal for adults who love horses or parent/child bonding. Fee includes use of stable horses. This is a full participation event that you will talk about for a long time!

It is highly recommended to choose a Jacuzzi room to relax your body after a day at horse camp--you may get saddle sore from several hours of riding! After a long day in the saddle, you might like to add on a one hour massage in our spa.
