Leaves fall quickly after a series of frosts or heavy rains. Getaway when the colors are the most beautiful and the weather is the most tolerable.

The expected color season for Hillsdale County is the entire month of October. Of course, this is an "expected" time-frame, the actual timing is up to Mother Nature! Wear yer eye patches, dew rags, and hooped earrings to look the part, as I'll be havin' a rip roarin' good time with me buxom beauty on the morn o' check-out for we be celebratin' the annual September 19 International Talk Like a Pirate Day.
