Fall colors have begun as early as September 10 and lasted as late as November 19

The expected color season for Hillsdale County is the entire month of October. Of course, this is an "expected" time-frame, the actual timing is up to Mother Nature! Leaves will fall quickly after the first frost. Plan weekends early, or getaway Sunday-Thursday on short notice. Hillsdale County Fair Week
"The Most Popular Fair on Earth" 2 Night Stay

Experience "The Most Popular Fair on Earth", the Hillsdale County Fair, a Southern Michigan tradition since 1851. It is the longest continuously running fair in the state of Michigan. George Munro, original owner of our home, was on the Fair Board at its inception. This could be another year where a world record horse pull is registered on the dynamometer. Live entertainment includes a Professional Wrestling, Talent Show, Demolition Derby, Tractor Pull, famous acts from the past plus a Saturday night headliner. Daily Fair Tickets are just $4.00 each and are available at the Fairgrounds in Hillsdale. Munro House Bed & Breakfast is "the most comfortable lodging in Hillsdale County" and is located just 10 minutes from the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds.
