The expected color season for Hillsdale County is the entire month of October. Of course, this is an "expected" time-frame, the actual timing is up to Mother Nature! Hillsdale County Fair Week

"The Most Popular Fair on Earth" September 27 - October 3, 2009

Experience "The Most Popular Fair on Earth", the Hillsdale County Fair, a Southern Michigan tradition since 1851. It is the longest continuously running fair in the state of Michigan. George Munro, original owner of our home, was on the Fair Board at its inception. Enjoy the horse pulling competition, horse racing, exhibits, and animals, plus good food and rides on the Midway. Live entertainment in the grandstands is scheduled to include Demolition Derby, Tractor Pull, Super Kicker Bullmania Rodeo, and Saturday night headliner, Craig Morgan. Daily Fair Tickets are just $4.00 each and are available at the Fairgrounds in Hillsdale.

Munro House Bed & Breakfast is "the most comfortable lodging in Hillsdale County" and is located just 10 minutes from the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds.
