The expected color season for Hillsdale County is the entire month of October. Of course,
this is an "expected" time-frame, the actual timing is up to Mother Nature! Leaves typically start
to exhibit brilliant colors soon after temperatures dip into the 30's. Check out the

the first frost. Plan weekends early, or getaway Sunday-Thursday on short
notice.

Hillsdale County Fair, a Southern Michigan tradition since 1851. It is the longest continuously
running fair in the state of Michigan. George Munro, original owner of our home, was on the Fair Board
at its inception. Enjoy the horse pulling competition, horse racing, exhibits, and animals, plus good food
and rides on the Midway. Live entertainment in the grandstands is scheduled to include Demolition
Derby, Tractor
Pull, Super Kicker Bullmania Rodeo, Saturday night headliners.
Daily Fair Tickets are just $4.00 each and are available at the Fairgrounds in Hillsdale.
