A fine dining experience is a short 2 block walk from the Munro House B&B to Olivia’s Chop House in downtown Jonesville. Virtually all Munro House guests eat at least one meal there to get a great meal and a real taste of Jonesville. Olivia’s is the kind of restaurant that everyone should have in their town, but don’t. The restaurant is clean and modern, the food and the service are consistantly very good, and the prices are reasonable.
Olivia’s specializes in steak, seafood, and pasta. On this day we chose the swordfish and the prime rib. The swordfish was the chef’s catch of the day and was grilled to perfection. The prime rib is smoked and was served medium rare–just the way we like it.
It is always a treat to experience great food at Olivia’s Chop House on highway 12 in Jonesville. When the owner sits at your table to talk, it’s a bonus. Olivia’s is currently open for dinner Tuesday-Saturday and for Sunday brunch.
