Three days of festivities were enjoyed by fans at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) in Brooklyn Michigan for the NASCAR races. Friday features ARCA Series 200 Race. Saturday features Nationwide Series 250
Race. Sunday features NASCAR 400 Sprint Cup Race. Additionally, there is the NASCAR village that offers food and souvenirs and has displays of vendor products and interactive race booths. People of all ages enjoy the party atmosphere at the race track in Michigan. This year’s Saturday night concert featured country music stars Big & Rich.
Temperatures were in the 90’s, and fans were encouraged to stay hydrated. Some fans did that with adult beverages and some did that with water. The party lasted until well into the night and it seemed like everyone was having a good time.
My friend, Aimee England, attended the events at MIS and took these great pictures. I was busy holding down the fort a half hour away at Munro House Bed and Breakfast in Jonesville Michigan with a houseful of guests attending the races.
