A friend told us that Wendy’s In Hillsdale Michigan was selling Frosty Key Tags for $1 that entitle the holder to a free Junior Frosty on every visit to their restaurant for all of 2013. She has 3 kids and told us that she buys them every year. The food is good and the free Frosty is a nice treat. I had never heard of this promotion, and I eat at Wendy’s regularly. So, we went to our local Wendy’s only to be told that they were sold out.
We happened to need to take a 2 hour road trip to visit friends so we decided that as long as we were on the road, we would stop at various Wendy’s to see if they had the promotional tags in stock. We tried several different Wendy’s and got a different response at each. Some said they didn’t sell them, others told us they were sold out, and another informed us that they usually run this promotion in March. Apparently, this promotion is not available at all Wendy’s restaurants and each may sell them at different times. So you’ll have to ask at your local store.
Bummed that we were too late, we still enjoy going to Wendy’s. I just turned 55 and our local Wendy’s gives me a 10% discount because 55 is the magic number. While waiting in line, we struck up a conversation with the cashier who told us that they just got a resupply of Frosty Tags. We bought 2 and attached them to our key chain. Now when we drive through or eat inside, we will get 2 free Junior Frosty’s for the rest of 2013 for showing our pair of tags.I don’t know if they will be honored at all Wendy’s, but they will be honored in Hillsdale.
There is a Wendy’s just 6 minutes from Munro House B&B in Jonesville. It is close to the movie theater and is a good place to grab a bite before the show.
