The Exchange Club of Hillsdale County traditionally hosts an annual pancake breakfast and fly-in at the Hillsdale County Municipal Airport on the last Sunday in June. Breakfast is served while airplanes, jets, and helicopters are viewed up close by the public. An opportunity to go for an airplane ride is an optional additional activity.
Over 600 breakfasts were served in 2012. The parking lot was filled to overflowing with a line of cars parked bumper-to-bumper along both sides of the road leading to the airport. It is always a good idea to come early to enjoy this fun event. This fund raiser supports the club’s charities that includes child abuse prevention.
