Blue Moon over Southern Michigan

Yesterday, we had a blue moon–the last one we will see until July 2015. The moon wasn’t really blue. Blue moon is a term used to describe the 2nd full moon in a single month.  Because there are 28 days between full moons, to have 2 in a single month is relatively rare and only happens about once every 3 years. I had fun checking out the full moon on a comfortable cloudless night at Munro House B&B in Jonesville. 😉
