New Dance Craze and Fun Video–Gangnam Style

 

Pop culture has an unlikely new superstar.  PSY is a chubby older Korean guy who knows a good tune and can bust a move anywhere. The beat is catchy, the hook is contagious, and the moves make me happy. I don’t know what he’s singing about, but I still don’t know what the Macarena is about, either–a good tune is recognizable in any language. Plus 131,000,000 youtube views as of 9/10/12 says a lot. While visiting our son in South Korea, the song could be heard any time, everywhere. Some teenagers taught us the horse dance, and we are digging it. We will add Gangnam Style to our party playlist at Munro House B&B in Jonesville.
