B&B for Vets in Michigan

Once again, the Munro House Bed and Breakfast in Jonesville Michigan participated in the national B&Bs for Vets program that offers free rooms to military veterans for Veteran’s Day. On the day before the holiday, complimentary lodging was offered to 12 vets/spouses at no charge in Jonesville–thousands of rooms were offered across the country. A great group of servicemen and women enjoyed our house and a great breakfast together.

To prepare for this much anticipated annual event, the Munro House asked veterans to “like” us on facebook. Then starting in October, available rooms were announced at random via facebook postings. The first caller was then able to get that room for free. Only the last room offered took more than 9 minutes to claim. We are sure to participate in this program again next year.
