Jonesville is located at Highways 12 and 99 in Southern Michigan. Highway 12 is also known to Detroiters as Michigan Avenue. Old-timers call it the Sauk Trail. Treasure hunters call it antique alley. US-12 runs from Detroit to Ann Arbor and on through the Irish Hills before arriving in Jonesville. It continues Westward through Allen, the antique capital of Michigan, and all the way to Chicago. There are interesting towns, shops, wineries, and lakes on, or near, the highway. A sprawling Amish community will be harvesting the fields with horse-drawn equipment. Modern farmers will be gathering their crops using modern machinery.

A leisure breakfast will prepare you for a recommended self-guided tour to the places you might enjoy most. Some of our favorite lunch spots will be highlighted as you take a leisure ride through the area. Then come back to Jonesville to spend the evenings in your comfortable room.
Recently, the fall colors of Southern Michigan have started to turn as early as September 10, and have run as late as November 19.
