Romantic Spring Getaway in Michigan

Spring starts on March 1 at the Munro House Bed and Breakfast in Jonesville Michigan. Any day can be a good day to getaway to enjoy a romantic spring getaway through May 31. The Spring Break Getaway Package includes 2 dinners, a movie fun pack, 2 one hour massages, and 2 nights bed and breakfast. Guests can choose their room then
add on the extras that include dinners at our favorite local restaurants, movie money good for tickets with goodies, a top notch massage by a local professional, plus a big made-to-order breakfast served each day.

Two great restaurants are located just 2 blocks from the Munro House. This convenient location along with their outstanding menus and prices make them the go-to places for dinner in Jonesville. Saucy Dog serves barbeque. They offer ribs, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and beef brisket along with other tasty choices. All are served in generous portions in a comfortable atmosphere. Olivia’s Chop House is a fine dining experience specializing in steaks, seafood, pork, pasta, and poultry. I agree with one reviewer who said it’s ‘like a restaurant from downtown Chicago dropped in the middle of Jonesville”. They even offer a flaming dessert prepared tableside at Olivia’s in downtown Jonesville. Both restaurants require no specific dress code, so come as you are.

The Premiere Theater in Hillsdale is about 6 minutes away. They feature newly released movies on 7 screens and generally host Hollywood blockbusters on the first day of issue. A recent remodel has brought in comfortable leather reclining seating and a plan to offer “White Castles” in the near future. The Munro House Movie Fun Pack includes enough movie money for 2 tickets plus a beverage and popcorn.

Massage is done in-house after breakfast by local trained professionals. At the Munro House, a one hour massage means that you will get massaged for a minimum of 60 minutes on the table, not 45 minutes of rubbing along with 15 minutes for consultation and dressing/undressing like they do in a salon. We try to keep on schedule while providing the full hour of service that our guests expect.

Guests may call us directly or shop online by clicking the ‘check availability’ button and selecting a date. All available rooms and their cost will appear. Once the room choice is made, an option to add on the Spring Break Getaway Package appears. After you decide the pricing is in your budget, you may enter your credit card information and reserve the entire package with a $100 deposit. Munro House takes care of everything else. Your gift cards and spa times are arranged and reserved so that when you get to Jonesville, an agenda has already been prepared for you to follow. There will be time for guests to step away from the agenda and enjoy other things to do in the area. Antique malls and wine tasting rooms are just a short drive away.
