“Lost in Yonkers” is a Neil Simon play that will be performed live at The Sauk Theater in Jonesville, Michigan, from February 13-23. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night shows at 8:00. Sunday matinees at 3:00. The Sauk is located just 2 blocks from Munro House Bed and Breakfast in Jonesville. A dinner/theater package is available for all of the night shows. The Sunday show could include dinner after the show at Saucy Dog’s Barbeque just a few doors down from the theater.
A Winter Getaway or a Valentine’s Day getaway can also include the dinner/theater package. Dinner is at Olivia’s Chop House in downtown Jonesville. Olivia’s is “like a restaurant from downtown Chicago dropped in the middle of Jonesville.” The Sauk has brought live theater to Jonesville for over 50 years and is staffed by experienced actors, directors, and crew. “Lost in Yonkers” opens the 2014 theater season at The Sauk. It won the Pulitzer Prize for drama in 1991. It is a coming of age story of a young man in a dysfunctional family in Yonkers, NY.
The 2014 theater season also includes a “Festival of One Acts” in May, “Les Miserables” in June, “Godspell” in August, “The War of the Worlds” in October, and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” in December.
