I have named this season “Mister Mike Summer”. Beginning July 1, 2012, I have begun wearing shirts with an “M” logo. Most look like the “M” from the University of Michigan logo, others look a lot like the M in Milwaukee Brewers. When I wear the shirts, the M stands for Mister Mike–the nickname my wife gave me 13 years ago so the neighbor kids wouldn’t have to call me Mr. Venturini. I have sought out logo designs that feature just an “M” and now have a week’s supply. This allows me to wear a different M shirt every day.

How long will it last? Who knows. Right now it’s fun to wear an M shirt every day–and remember, M is for Mister Mike!
