Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the marriage of Lori and Mike.

Lori and Mike, today you take the next step towards continuing your lifetime commitment. The love and trust you have built also touches your family and friends who in various ways support and contribute to the relationship. Thank you all for coming.

I, Lori, choose you, Mike, to be my husband. Be no one other than yourself, I love what I know of you, and I trust what I do not yet know.

 

I will respect you as an individual, a partner, and an equal in our life together. 

 

I promise to learn from you, to communicate openly with you, and to always honor our differences.

 

I promise to love you through sickness and in health, laugh with you when the times are good, and to work through any challenges that may face us.
