A special 2 or 3 night New Years Eve celebration is scheduled at the Munro House B&B in Jonesville MI. Friday night, December 29, features a night out at a fine dining restaurant–Olivia’s Chop House. Saturday night, December 30, is an interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Party at Munro House. Sunday, December 31, is a full participation in the original Chef Night Cooking Party at Munro House. With New Years Day falling on a Monday, many people will have a long weekend to celebrate the holiday. Choose a 2 or 3 night night weekend getaway with interactive activities planned for couples to enjoy themselves for the holiday.
Getaway for the long weekend beginning Friday, December 29. After arriving in Jonesville, Olivia’s Chop House is the featured restaurant for dinner. It is an easily walkable 2 blocks away. Choose Prime Rib, Crab Legs, or the nightly special along with a bottle of wine. Unique soups, incredible appetizers, and delectable desserts are part of the fine dining experience at the best restaurant for miles. The first night of your weekend package includes a gift card for your first big meal of the weekend.
On Saturday, December 30, Munro House is planning their annual New Years Eve Murder Mystery Dinner Party. The first Murder Mystery at Munro House dates back to 2000. Since then, over 100 murder mystery dinners have been hosted in Jonesville. A five course meal is served while the game is played. Appetizer, soup, salad, entree, and dessert are consumed while guests play diverse roles in an interactive game of who-done-it.
On Sunday, December 31–New Years Eve, Munro House is hosting a cooking party, known as Chef Night, where guests prepare a feast for all to enjoy. About 5 hours of preparing and consuming is done by participants who all become an amateur chef for the night. Our top chef organizes and supervises the interactive event that is completed by 10:00. There is a break until midnight where everyone can gather and watch the New Year arrive on the live TV broadcast from Times Square. A champagne toast is offered at the start of 2018.

The 3 night event is $349 plus the cost of your room. The 2 night event is $249 plus the cost of your room. It also requires check-in by 5:00. There is no one night package on this weekend. There are rooms with gas or electric fireplaces. There are rooms with 2 person Jacuzzi tubs. All rooms have a queen size bed and private bath ensuite.
